Trae.dk is the Danish Wood Initiative with the aim to increase the use of wood products; trae is Danish for wood. They produced a whiteboard animation to explain the benefits of wood building.

Wooden houses are not just for children, doggies or weirdoes who live in the backwoods! No, Trae.dk believes wood is the world’s best building material and it has always been so. Here’s why:
relative to its weight, wood is the world’s strongest building material;
building with wood is quick, easy and economical;
wood is strong and flexible, and therefor earthquake-resistant;
it is beautiful, feels good and has a wonderful scent;
it creates an excellent indoor climate and acoustics and keeps you warm;
wood is the most environmentally friendly, renewable material;
it stores carbon and reduces the greenhouse effect;
and in the end it can be recycled.
That is why modern intelligent people choose wood, caring for themselves as well as for future generations.
